Big Yavo

You probably remember Yavo from the viral track "HIM" which went viral in 2021.

I had the opportunity to photograph him (no pun) during the last leg of his tour when he stopped in Johnson City. He performed in the venue above where Main Street Pizza used to be, and the crowd got so wild that the venue owners thought the floor would collapse.

Was nervous meeting Yavo since this was the first time I'd photographed an artist whose music I'd been listening to since high school, he was cool though. After the show he stuck around to spend time with fans, taking photos and speaking with everyone. I was able to grab a few portraits of him in the process.
